MK Miri Regev: I've been threatened politically over the budget

Likud MK Miri Regev convened a few dozen activists in Or Yehuda on Sunday to support her opposition to the budget and especially its newly-imposed VAT on produce. Regev said at the rally that she had been threatened politically for saying that she would vote against the budget. Only 3 MKs - Yariv Levine, Zion Pinian and Danny Danon - attended the event to show their solidarity, but none of them committed to voting against the budget. Referring to last week's Likud faction meeting during which Netanyahu warned MKs not to vote against the budget, Regev said that she would form a new socio-economic lobby in the Knesset.
