MK Zahava Gal-On: PM cannot criticize Peres

Meretz Chairman MK Zahava Gal-on defended President Shimon Peres on Saturday for saying that Israel should not attempt to attack Iran alone.
"The tirade and criticism of President Shimon Peres by Prime Minsiter Netanyahu is hypocritical...The Prime Minister can not have it both ways - take the President@@@s diplomatic reputation when it serves his purposes, or degrade him violently when he expresses opinions that are not to his liking."
Sources close to Netanyahu had slammed Peres for his statements, saying that he had forgotten the president@@@s largely symbolic role.
