Nazareth District Court judge Cohen questioned on sex crimes allegations

Nazareth District Court Judge Yitzhak Cohen was questioned under caution by police for five hours on Tuesday as part of a sex crimes investigation against him.

Cohen was questioned at the LAHAV 433 headquarters in Lod after Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein in September directed police to question him under caution.

The allegations reportedly involve between three to five women and involve incidents that allegedly happened as little as two years ago.

Cohen had denied the allegations against him, calling them baseless. He has been on leave since last month, but has not been permanently suspended from the bench.
