Netanyahu: Knesset serves public, not the other way round

"The Knesset serves the state and the public, not the other way round" Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday at the ceremony of the 19th Knesset.

Netanyahu stressed the weight of responsibility that rests on the shoulders of members of Knesset, and urged the new and returning MKS to maintain the sense of excitement and responsibility that comes with their roles.

He mentioned the cost of living, housing prices and a change in the government system as items on the agenda of the next Knesset.
