Neurofen label in error, Health Ministry announces

An error was made on the label by Reckitt Benckiser, the British multinational consumer goods and pharmaceutical company that makes and markets Neurofen, the pain-relief and fever-reducing non-prescription medication, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
The 200-milligram packet of pills wrote on the outside that the "dosage for adults and children up to the age of 12 is..." in fact, the dosage is for "adults and children over the age of 12."
An order was given to the Israeli importer to return packages with the mistaken label and advertise the error, with instructions to return the package to a pharmacy to exchange it.
However, the ministry said, if a child under 12 received that dosage, it did not endanger him - even though children under 12 are not supposed to take it.
