Nurses in six departments of Sheba hospital cut work

Nurses at Tel Hashomer's Sheba Medical Center threatened limited functionality in all six departments of the hospital on Thursday, as part of a wider protest against what they claim are unfulfilled standards promised by the Health Ministry.

Nurses declared yesterday a labor dispute and threatened to begin striking within two weeks if there is no change in the situation.

On Tuesday, nurses at Sheba Medical Center staged a walk-out after the admission of patients exceeded maximum capacity, putting strain on the nurses' ability to see patients properly.
