Opposition calls for French foreign minister's resignation

The opposition in France has called for the defense minister, Michelle Alliot-Marie, to quit her position, saying that she had visited Tunisia just one week before the uprising that ousted former president Zine el Abdine Ben Ali, Israel Radio reported.
Alliot-Marie has confirmed reports that she had flown to Tunisia in a private jet not once but several times last year, but said they were paid for in a transparent and straight manner.
