PA demands Subaru act against parody ad

The Palestinian Authority demanded on Thursday that the Israeli branch of Subaru act against a parody advertisement depicting one of the Japanese company's cars hitting a Palestinian child.
The parody showed a picture from a well-known video of Palestinians aged 10 and 11 throwing stones at City of David Director David Be'eri's car in October. Beeri then hit and lightly injured the masked boys with his Subaru.
The words "See who will stand in your way..." in Hebrew are imposed over the picture.
"It is not clear whether this is a genuine advertisement or whether someone is making use of the Subaru logo," a PA statement said.
