An 8-month old Palestinian baby died as his family’s request to allow him access to a life-saving surgery in Israel was still processing as the Palestinian Authority ended its coordination with Israel, Kan tweeted on Friday.
The family is based in the Gaza Strip and the operation was due to take place in Israel. Due to the infant's critical condition, he died before the request could be approved.
