Peretz accuses Bayit Yehudi of incitement, dangerous rhetoric against Livni

Environmental Protection Minister Amir Peretz on Sunday accused Bayit Yehudi of "incitement" against the leader of his Hatnua party, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, on the issue of the impending release of Palestinian security prisoners as part of ongoing peace talks with the Palestinians.
"What starts with spitting can end in murder," Peretz told Israel Radio, accusing Bayit Yehudi of "irresponsible" and dangerous rhetoric.
He stated that the party led by Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett should not continue to sit in the government if they oppose the prisoner release and negotiations with the Palestinians.
Peretz stated that Bayit Yehudi had brought on the prisoner release deal themselves by opposing a settlement freeze.
