PM promises mutual decision over Sheshinski tax proposals

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday met with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, Professor Eitan Sheshinski, and the Delek company's Yitzhak Tshuva and discussed the Sheshinski committee's recommendations regarding the country's oil and gas tax policy.
The recommendations include an increase of royalties being paid to the state by gas firms.
The discussion focused on the issue of funding Tamar's drilling after the introduction of a new tax policy.
Netanyahu said he would look over the material presented in the meeting and will reach a mutual decision with the participants.
