Police arrest man suspected of multiple bank robberies

Police arrested a 40-year-old man on Monday on suspicion that he was responsible for robbing a bank in Hadar, Haifa.
Earlier in the day, the man allegedly walked into the bank, handed a note to an employee demanding that she quietly give him money, and then fled the scene.
A likeness was sent to police, whereupon two officers recognized the suspect and apprehended him.
The man, a Haifa resident, admitted to the bank robbery, as well as to two others that he had committed, including another one at the same bank branch.
