Police ask for remand extension of hit-and-run driver

Police on Monday have asked the court to extend by 10 days the remand of the suspected truck driver in a hit-and-run accident that killed a young couple on Route 4 on Sunday.
The 31-year-old truck driver from Jaffa gave himself up to police on Monday morning.
He was suspected of fleeing the accident scene without helping the the injured couple.
