Police, firefighters rule out arson in Ikea store blaze

Following several days of investigation, a joint police and Fire Rescue Service evaluation meeting held on Wednesday concluded that the massive fire which burned the landmark IKEA furniture store down in Netanya was caused by an electrical fault, not arson.

The findings were announced during a meeting attended by Fire and Rescue Commissioner Shimon Romah and .Sharon sub-district police, Lt.-Cmdr. Shimon Shomroni.
