Polish President honors last Warsaw Jewish Ghetto fighter

Polish President Andrzeji Duda said on Sunday that the late Simcha Rotem was "the hero of both nations."
Writing on Twitter, Duda said that the Polish-Jewish fighter, who participated in the Jewish Ghetto Warsaw uprising as well as the Polish Uprising that took place later, was a "Hero of two nations: the Polish and the Israeli one. May his memory live on."  
Rotem passed away on Saturday, he was 94 years old.
