Poll: Likud Party gains as Lapid declines in popularity

Likud's popularity has risen in the past month while a party headed by former journalist Yair Lapid has become less influential, a recent poll conducted by the Geocartography Group revealed on Sunday.
The poll, which was carried out by Prof. Avi Dagani, showed that were elections to be held today, Likud would receive 39 mandates as compared to 33 in January, and a party run by Lapid would receive 6 seats, shrinking from 13 mandates in January.
The poll also showed that Lapid's party receives the bulk of its support from the Kadima Party, led by opposition leader Tzipi Livni. The survey revealed that Kadima would receive 12 mandates, one seat more than it would have received in January.
