Protesters gather outside Egypt embassy in Turkey

ANKARA, Turkey — Around one hundred protesters, heavily outnumbered by riot police,demonstrated outside the Egyptian Embassy in Ankara late Sunday, declaring solidarity with protests in Egypt.
The protesters — mostly members of Turkish Islamic groups — shouted slogans outside the embassy in the capital denouncing Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.Protesters chanted "Pharaoh Hosni get out of Egypt," and "We're shoulder to shoulder against oppression" as hundreds of riot police stood by.
They also recited verses from the Muslim holy book, the Koran, before dispersing peacefully.
The Anatolia news agency reported a similar protest was held outside the Egyptian Consulate in Istanbul.
