Rahat school principal released from police custody

Rahat school principal Samir Huzail was released to his home by police on Thursday after being previously arrested on suspicion of involvement in a mass brawl in Rahat which claimed the lives of two people.
Huzail’s attorney blasted the police’s decision to arrest his client, saying that the arrest caused Huzail “irreparable damage.”
Two cousins, aged 25 and 30, were shot dead during a fight that broke out at the entrance to the Negev city between two families, both members of the Huzail clan, in what police suspect is a feud over property.
Another suspect remains in custody in connection with the case.
