Report: Erdogan warns against Israeli strike on Iran

An Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities would have disastrous outcomes, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday, according to the Turkish daily Hurriyet.
Hurriyet reported that Erdogan made these comments while talking to journalists aboard his airplane, as he was returning from a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
"The entire region would be devastated if Israel strike Iran," Hurriyet quoted Erdogan as saying.
On Wednesday, Erdogan met Iranian leaders in Tehran, and spoke out against any attack on a country "pursuing a peaceful nuclear program," Iranian state news agency, IRNA reported.Reuters contributed to this report
