Report: Number of ships on ISM flotilla rises from 8 to 9

The number of ships on an international flotilla bound for Gaza has risen from eight to nine, the Palestine Telegraph reported on Monday.
According to the Gaza-based online publication, the Freedom Flotilla - as it is called by the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) - will reach its destination by May 27. The nine ships will carry both passengers and cargo in hopes of dropping anchor on Gazan shores.
The first ship, the MV Rachel Corrie, began the journey from Ireland to the Middle East on May 15; it will be joined in Cyprus by eight other vessels from Turkey and Greece, all carrying activists and humanitarian supplies.
