Report: Suleiman declines to enter Egypt president race

Former Egyptian vice president Omar Suleiman will not run in the coming presidential elections in Egypt, a coordinator of Suleiman's campaign announced on Wednesday.
Campaign manager Marwa Mounir announced on Tuesday that despite reports that Suleiman would announce his candidacy later this week, the former vice president decided to cancel his bid for Egyptian president, Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram's website reported.
The announcement came after supporters of Suleiman - who was appointed to his post as vice president by ousted president Hosni Mubarak - called on the former intelligence chief to run for president.
