Russia calls on Libya to comply with UN resolutions

MOSCOW - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on Libyan Prime Minister Al-Baghdadi Al-Mahmoudi to implement United Nations Security Council resolutions and end attacks on civilians, the ministry said in a Sunday statement.
"Lavrov said that the most important issue now is to stop the bloodshed and sufferings of the civilian population," the ministry reported on its website, referring to a Saturday telephone conversation between the two.
