Schalit activists stop Palestinian families on prison visit

Activists demonstrating for the release of captive IDF soldier Gilad Schalit blocked a bus full of Palestinian security prisoners' families who were on their way to visit their relatives in prison Tuesday.

The Palestinian family members were prevented from getting off the bus and eventually were forced to turn around.

One activist said that the group would do whatever was necessary to prevent prisoner visits. Schalit has not been allowed any visits by the International Committee of the Red Cross, or any other visits during the five years he has spent in captivity.
