Seal, Diana Krall join list of performers coming to Israel

The musical lineup for the summer keeps getting more crowded. The latest to join or r&b Nigerian-British singer Seal and Canadian jazzy pianist and singer Diana Krall.

Seal will be performing at the Ra’anana Amphitheater on July 21, and Krall at the same venue on August 4, barely a month after her husband, Elvis Costello, plays in Caesarea on June 30.

And after all tickets were quickly sold to the May 19th performance of Belgian rockers K’s Choice at the Barby Club, a second show has been added on May 18th. Likewise, Spin Doctors vocalist Chris Barron, who’s performing with Monica Sex at Jerusalem Student Day on May 11 along with Kool & the Gang, has added a show the next night at the Barby.

Meanwhile, even though Bob Dylan is going to be in the region, it doesn’t look like any Israel show is going to happen. Dylan’s performing on May 28 in Athens and on May 31 in Istanbul. Being that close, he could even save some traveling money by taking a boat over to Tel Aviv.
