Spillover from Syrian civil war strikes Israel for fifth time in 1 week

The IDF said Saturday that a projectile launched from Syria hit an open area in the Northern Golan Heights.
No injuries were reported in the event.
"The errant projectile is a result of internal fighting in Syria," the IDF said in a statement.
The IDF added that military units are in the area and have opened an investigation.
The event marks the fifth time in the last week that fighting from the Syrian civil war has spilled over into Israel territory.
Israel ultimately hold the Syrian regime responsible for violations of its sovereignty.
