Strong earthquake jolts east Japan, tsunami warning

TOKYO - An earthquake measuring 7.9 struck off the northeast coast of Japan on Friday, shaking buildings in the capital Tokyo and triggering a 6-meter tsunami warning, NHK reported.
On Wednesday, a magnitude 6.3 quake struck off the eastern coast of Japan's main island of Honshu less than a day after a strong quake in the same place triggered a tsunami warning.
