DAMASCUS - Syrian security forces killedfour people on Wednesday in an attack on the Omari mosque in the
southern city of Deraa, site of six days of protests, residentssaid.Protesters calling for political freedoms and an end tocorruption had said earlier that they were going to remain inthe mosque until their demands were met.
