Turkey's foreign minister says next target is Raqqa

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu says Syrian rebels and Turkish special forces have together made important progress in northern Syria in the fight against Islamic State.
"The al-Bab operation must be completed immediately in the period ahead. In recent days, as you know, our special forces and the Free Syrian Army (rebels) have made serious progress. Air support from coalition forces and support from Russia have contributed greatly to our operation against Daesh (Islamic State). We want to complete this operation as soon as possible."
"Our next target will be Raqqa in Syria. The operation in Raqqa must be carried out with the right groups, not with other terrorist organizations. From the start we are saying, and Saudi Arabia agrees with this as well, as regional countries and member coalition countries (against Islamic State), we can put our special forces into action. We must do that."
"They (President Tayyip Erdogan and U.S. President Donald Trump) found the opportunity to discuss the common grounds where we can cooperate. One of these common grounds is the fight against Daesh. The fight against Daesh is a common target. President (Tayyip Erdogan) explained to President Donald Trump what Turkey has been doing in the fight against Daesh during their phone call and they liaised on what should be done in the next phase."
