UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met with President Shimon Peres in Israel Wednesday on the heels of his trip from Jordan.
In Jordan, Ban called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to give the Palestinians some “goodwill gestures” so the low-level talks that began in Amman last month will continue.
