UN: Congo rebels may have committed crimes against humanity

GENEVA - Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a Ugandan Islamist rebel group, committed human rights violations in Democratic Republic of Congo last year that may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, a UN human rights report said on Wednesday.
The group killed at least 237 civilians in the last three months of 2014, including 65 women and 35 children, the UN human rights office said in a statement, adding that the human rights violations had been "systematic and extremely brutal".
