Police issued a warrant to Channel 2 on Monday requesting that the station hand over the document which allegedley describes a campaign to promote Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant as the replacement for Gabi Ashkenazi as the next IDF chief-of-staff.
The document is marked with the logo of Eyal Arad's public relations firm, Arad Communications, but Arad has maintained that the document is a forgery and he had not part in a campaign to promote Galant's succession to the chief-of-staff position.
Earlier on Monday, police investigators examined the company's office computers and took away company documents and other office equipment for further probing.
