White House: Inconceivable bin Laden didn't have support

WASHINGTON - A top White House official said it was "inconceivable" Osama bin Laden had not had a support system to help him inside Pakistan, but he declined to speculate if there had been any official Pakistani aid.
John Brennan, US President Barack Obama's top counter terrorism adviser, also told reporters that the US commandos on the raid had been ready to take the al Qaida leader alive if that had been possible.
