Witness: Libya rebels take another town in West

SURMAN - Libyan rebels who have made gains west of the capital Tripoli took another town on Friday, extending their control of the strategic coastal highway that links the capital with the outside, a Reuters journalist said.
A crowd of several hundred rebels and rebel supporters turned out near the coastal highway to celebrate the victory in the town of Surman, flying the rebels' green, black and red flag.
