Yacimovich: Netanyahu is detached from middle-class Israel

Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's economic policies on Sunday, saying he is not familiar with the economic reality in which middle-class families in Israel live.

"If Netanyahu were to leave the Prime Minister's Residence and enter an average Israeli family's home, he would discover a bleak reality that is probably foreign to him," Yacimovich said.

"This is the reality in which the number of poor people grew to frightening numbers this year," the Labor leader said.

"This is the reality in which a middle-class family is forced to work part-time jobs," only to find that they can't pay their bills at the end of the month, she added.
