Organized by D.Care - Diabetes Care in Israel, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Israel, the conference will highlight 25 years of JDRF research in its attempts to find a cure for diabetes. Titled a 'Thinking out of the Box' conference, it invites participants to share their thoughts on how to prevent road injury by changing attitudes. The conference will take a fresh look at the failure of Israel society to reduce road death and serious injury and why solutions which work in the majority of western countries are not adopted here. Participants will explore the reasons why society is seemingly resigned to the inevitable devastation of so many families every year.
