The Bank of Jerusalem has initiated a conference of American philanthropic and not-for-profit organizations that support Israel. The conference, taking place in New York under the guidance of Loeb and Tropper, a leading accounting firm that specializes in overseeing philanthropy, will examine the various requirements of American law with regard to making philanthropic contributions to Israel. Representatives of some 50 organizations and institutions have registered for the conference.
How to Teach Jews About Judaism in Today's World (Kiruv Skills), a lecture by Rabbi Adam Winston, author of Pleasures - A Jewish Approach to Life (Feldheim) and G-d - Tools to Experience the Ultimate (Feldheim), will be presented in English to members and friends of the Root & Branch Association.
