The new brow pencil from Bobbi is precise and effective to a near-surgical level, allowing even shaky or unskilled hands to manage shading or delicate strokes and effortlessly fill in anything that needs filling. It’s our favorite kind of pencil—meaning it’s mechanical, so there’s no need to sharpen or carry extra tools. The texture is just right—not too soft and smudgy, but also not too stiff or scratchy.
The pencils come in 12 shades that are highly recommended to try before you buy, especially if you’re fair-skinned. And if you’re already in the store, it’s worth putting in a bit of extra effort and trying shades close to the one that seems most fitting—you might be pleasantly surprised. All this beauty holds up incredibly well, even on a long and humid day. In short—remarkably precise and impressively long-lasting. For anyone who knows exactly what she wants from her brows and isn’t afraid to pay for it.
Bobbi Brown, Precise Brow Pencil – NIS 165
If you're into meticulously drawn, hair-by-hair brows and have both patience and skill – MAC’s pencil is what you need. The Brow Definer is ultra-thin, just 1 mm, but requires caution: like anything sharp and thin these days, it’s a bit fragile. The formula is pigmented, glides easily—perhaps a bit too easily for our taste, maybe thanks to coconut and argan oils. As for shades, it takes some searching, but anyone on the brown spectrum will find their match eventually.
But—there’s a but—it’s a pencil that doesn’t tolerate mistakes. Press a bit too hard? It breaks. Draw, fill in, and correct repeatedly? Get ready to meet the end of the pencil sooner than expected—it just runs out too quickly, especially if you’re filling in large areas.
In short, ideal for perfectionists, not for those in a rush. A perfect product for those willing to handle it gently—so if you’ve been breaking pencils since third grade, better go with Bobbi’s more forgiving one.

Need to get your brows in place but don’t like them too done? We hear you, sister. Pupa’s clear gel, from a brand with value-for-money energy, boasts a tiny, precise brush. The formula isn’t too wet, doesn’t dry before you realize where you applied it, and keeps brows in place without white residue or that super-glued feeling. The hold is decent—for perfectionists, touch-ups will be needed throughout the day. And of course, the price is small and painless in this category.
Pupa, Fix & Lift Eyebrow Styler – NIS 49
Here’s another great product for anyone who wants their brows natural and drama-free. The new brow gel from NARS excels with a clear formula that’s not shiny, not sticky, and does the job without unwanted presence. The brush is small and convenient, doesn’t overload with product, and requires no wiping off excess. The brows stay in place but not overly polished—more of a “woke up like this, just tidy” look.
So, what’s the catch? Like with Pupa’s gel, the desired natural look comes at the expense of uneven longevity. On a regular day, it holds up great. On a day with humidity, sweat, or excessive joy, the brows scatter a bit and need a renewal vow.
NARS, Clear Gel Brow – NIS 125
We love our makeup products compact, with as few parts as possible and requiring minimal accessories—so we always prefer our brow gel in a container with a brush that can fit in the tiniest bag. But if you like your sushi deconstructed and do your brows at home (not during the brief pause at a red light), makeup artist Nirit Bar-On’s long-lasting brow gel is a good option. It’s clear, durable, and with the right amount, keeps brows tidy without stiffness. The main challenge is finding a brush that can handle the container, especially as the product level drops—it’s a bit big for us.
