Weavy, the platform ushering in the next generation of visual creation in the AI era, launched to the public after raising $4 million in a seed round. The investment was led by Entrée Capital, with participation from Designer Fund, Founder Collective, and Fiverr founder Micha Kaufman.
Weavy is launching a dedicated product for professional designers and creators, both individuals and teams, with use cases for freelancers and large organizations alike. The product has already been adopted by enterprise clients such as NVIDIA, Wix, eToro, Taboola, and CrazyLabs.
"The AI revolution in design has changed the rules of the game, but professional designers still face a significant gap between AI’s promise and real-world implementation," says Lior Elbak, CEO and co-founder of Weavy. "Weavy was built to bridge exactly that gap – it puts creators back in full control of the process and unlocks new possibilities for collaboration and large-scale work."
From branding and advertising to film and gaming, creatives face the same challenges when working with AI tools: Fragmented workflows across different platforms, inconsistent outputs, lack of true control, and difficulty collaborating within teams. Weavy offers a unified workspace that integrates all leading AI models (including OpenAI, Kling, Flux, Runway, Ideogram, and more) with familiar professional editing tools – layer-based composition, masking, matte workflows, and more – all on a single visual canvas.
Weavy’s product allows designers to document their creative workflow and turn it into a visual, shareable, scalable workflow. It also enables the creation of design applications – a simple interface that wraps complex workflows into user-friendly tools, even for non-experts. Design teams can share these apps across departments, ensuring brand consistency at scale.
“We’re investing in Weavy because it addresses a critical inflection point in the creative industry,” said Avi Eyal, Managing Partner at Entrée Capital. “Their platform enables designers to grow alongside AI rather than be replaced by it, which is an important message for forward-thinking teams.”
Ben Blumenrose, co-founder at Designer Fund and one of the first designers at Meta (Facebook), added: “The design world is being fundamentally transformed by AI, and we need tools that not only deliver results but also give designers full control of the process. Weavy does exactly that – not just high-quality visuals at speed, but a way for entire teams to reach that level. It's a true force multiplier, and we’re excited to be part of the journey.”
The $4 million investment will enable Weavy to accelerate product development and expand into additional markets beyond its enterprise clients.
Weavy was founded by four co-founders with deep backgrounds in design, platforms, and artificial intelligence. Three of them previously worked together at Fiverr. Lior Elbak brings platform management experience, having overseen hundreds of thousands of freelancers and creative agencies at Fiverr. Itay Shiff and Yonatan Gur-Zeev come from the world of video editing for TV commercials and cinema, with rich experience in international projects. Yonatan Alumot has been developing machine learning and generative AI products for the past decade.
Weavy’s new product is now available with plans tailored to freelancers, small teams, and enterprises.
