During the Passover holiday of 2026, one of the largest and most intriguing culinary productions ever seen in Israel will take place at Expo Tel Aviv: The “A Story of Food” festival. This first-of-its-kind immersive food event is produced by Round Tables, the toMix Group - one of Israel’s leading culture and entertainment groups - and Assaf Atedgi. The festival is designed entirely for the whole family and offers a culinary, creative, and multi-sensory experience - without limitations and without table rules.
“A Story of Food,” which is expected to host approximately 100,000 visitors, will transform Pavilion 2 at Expo Tel Aviv into an experiential culinary complex featuring a variety of different content worlds. These worlds are inspired by a leading team of chefs, including Yuval Ben Neria, Avi Biton, Oren Asido, Michal Epstein, Tamara Aharoni, Tomer Umansky, Meidan Siboni, and Chico and Miko Croissant - alongside inspiration from popular social media stars and content creators beloved by children and teenagers, such as Inde Game, Saltiz, and the Tarasov family.
“A Story of Food” is not a standard food festival, but rather an innovative production that allows visitors to dive into worlds of imagination, creativity, and play, while enjoying surprising culinary creations for a nominal additional fee, according to personal taste. Each of the 14 worlds will be designed with rich, story-driven scenery and will offer a culinary experience alongside hands-on activities - from working with raw ingredients to tastings, interactive activations, and prize-winning competitions.
According to Assaf Mor, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at the toMix Group: “The ‘A Story of Food’ festival is far more than a culinary festival - it is an expression of the toMix Group’s vision to create groundbreaking culture and entertainment experiences that connect different content worlds and generate moments you won’t encounter anywhere else. This year, together with our partners, we chose to stretch the boundaries of imagination and build an extraordinary experience that connects culinary arts, culture, and content in an innovative and creative way. We created an experiential and imaginative space where the entire family - from young children to adults - can enjoy an original experience, unique collaborations, and content that redefines the concept of shared leisure in Israel. We see this as a natural and meaningful part of the toMix Group’s activity as a leader in the world of experiences, culture, and entertainment in Israel, delivering original and innovative experiences to all audiences and age groups, while connecting unique worlds and content.”
