Fresh soy drinks and a salep edition, Alpro
The chilled-dairy refrigerators receive a significant boost from the popular substitute brand, with a multi-dimensional and intriguing launch.
Alpro’s new series, from Strauss, includes four fresh soy drinks – Barista in a half-liter and one-liter carton, Barista without sugar (1 liter) as well as a vanilla-flavored version – and marks an entry into a highly sought-after, expanding category. The drinks themselves enjoy good thickness, excellent frothing ability (after all, Barista, right?) and above all a “milky” taste that does not ask you for much compromise. And that is all we asked for in the first place.
At the same time, and with what is referred to here as “winter,” a 750 ml carton of indulgence also arrives in the form of a chilled soy drink with salep flavor – rich as promised, with a relatively moderate taste for the genre, and works well both as a hot drink and straight from the refrigerator.
