Ahead of International Pride Month, which is marked throughout June, the iStore chain, an official reseller of Apple products in Israel, is launching the Cupertino tech giant's new official band in Israel – Apple Sport Loop Pride Edition for 2026. The local launch takes place in tandem with Apple's global announcement, which this year introduces a collection of dedicated accessories and content designed to express support and solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community worldwide, alongside the company's financial support for organizations working on behalf of the community.
The new band, available for purchase right now, is based on the familiar structure of the Sport Loop series and is made of a double–layer, soft, and breathable nylon weave. The uniqueness of the current model lies in a weave that combines 11 different colors of threads, creating an effect where each color blends into the next and imparts visual depth to the overall look. The band includes Apple's traditional hook–and–loop fastening system, which allows for quick and precise adjustment on the user's wrist, and is designed for athletic activity as well as prolonged daily use.
Alongside the physical band, Apple has integrated matching digital content in the current update for users across various devices. These include a new watch face named Pride Luminance, which comes in two geometric models: A radial look where the color rays align with the hour markers, and a vertical look that simulates the woven stripes of the band. The digital display, along with matching wallpapers released for iPhone and iPad devices, allows for full customization and modification of color combinations according to the user's choice.
The band is offered for sale to the local public at a price of NIS 209 at the chain's various branches, while in Eilat it will be sold at a price of NIS 176, excluding VAT. As is the case every year, this is a limited edition that will be available in stores only throughout the Pride Month period.
