An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter Scale rattled northern Israel at about 3:01 p.m. on Monday, with its epicenter just north of Lake Kinneret, according to the Israel Geophysical Institute’s Seismology Division.No injuries were reported.
The last earthquake to be felt in Israel were tremors from a mild eastern Mediterranean quake on December 28, which registered 5.8 on the Richter Scale and was centered about 80 kilometers south-southwest of Avsallar, Turkey.
