Dr. Eitan Hai-Am, who has been director-general of Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba for six-and-a-half years, has decided to leave and go into the private sector, it was announced on Thursday.
He will remain in the position until a replacement is chosen by the hospital's owner, Clalit Health Services.
