Former Iranian president Muhammed Khatami told Time magazine on Friday that the Holocaust was an historic fact, and should not be used to "justify the oppression of the Palestinians."
Khatami added that he was sure that his successor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not mean to deny the Holocaust.
