Pakistan's PM condemns IDF strikes on Lebanon

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Sunday his country strongly condemned the "violence being committed against Lebanon," and demanded that the international community step in to halt fighting between Israel and Lebanon-based guerillas. Aziz made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, saying that the "loss to life and property (in Lebanon) must be stopped immediately," according to a statement from Aziz's office. "Pakistan strongly stands by the Lebanese people and fully respects their sovereignty and territorial integrity," the statement said.
