A bomb ripped through a teeming bus terminal in the southern Philippines, killing a 5-year-old boy and injuring dozens of other people, police and hospital officials said Friday.
The improvised explosive device was believed to have been left at the terminal gate at the Weena Bus Terminal in Cotabato city, where many passengers were milling around to board buses, said police Senior Inspector Samsom Obatay.
Some of the injuries were life-threatening, he said.
