The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog says Iran's decision to discuss allegations it tried to make nuclear weapons is a milestone.
International Atomic Energy Agency head Mohamed ElBaradei's comments are adding to hopes that his agency will make progress in its investigation of Teheran's alleged nuclear weapons programs.
ElBaradei commented Wednesday in Sarajevo shortly after his agency announced that Iran had agreed to cooperate with the IAEA's investigation.
Iran insists its nuclear program is geared solely toward the production of electricity.
