Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert harshly attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family on Tuesday night.
Olmert said that Netanyahu "is like a spoiled egg that pollutes the entire environment, pollutes our public life," Israeli media reported.
Netanyahu is clinging to any chance for survival, "every straw that can save him," Olmert said.
"He will go down," Olmert said.
Last month, in an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post's Gil Hoffman, Olmert said the prime minister does not deserve to remain in his position and will not form the next government. He said he still believes parties in the Center and Left can stop Netanyahu from building a coalition after the April 9 election.
“The parties that are battling against him... may not have a majority to form a coalition together or a political bloc prior to the election, but I believe they will have enough seats in order to block the possible creation of a government led by Netanyahu,” Olmert said.
