The Lauder Center in Be'er Sheva in cooperation with the Jewish National Fund-USA has launched an initiative to aid soldiers in southern Israel.

The two organizations are working with companies located in the area to provide young men and women with what they need, including water, food, clothes and toiletries.

The Lauder Employment Center was established by American businessman and philanthropist Ronald Lauder in 2015 to address the fundamental element of employment in bringing people to the Negev.

Currently, the LEC acts as an overarching body in the creation of partnerships between Negev employers, employment agencies, and potential employees.

The Center maintains relationships with over 300 employers and works with thousands of job seekers to facilitate easier access to job opportunities and quality candidates.

In light of the success of the model, Lauder recently also supported the establishment of similar centers in Acre and Kiryat Shmona.
