Incitement

Efraim Shamir, famous for his work in the popular Israeli rock band Kaveret, is believed to be under suspicion of incitement to terrorism and violence against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"The world is a better place this morning, without five young men who participated in one of the most brutal crimes against humanity," haredi left-wing journalist, Israel Frey, wrote on X/Twitter.

Yitzhak Yosef condoled the families of the five soldiers killed in Gaza's Beit Hanun in an open letter, calling for increased Torah study, implicitly denouncing haredi draft attempts.

An additional post showed a photo of the terrorist who carried out the terror attack at the El-Khader Junction in Gush Etzion in December of 2024.

Several people, including minors, were arrested.

The arrest took place on February 19, 2025, following extensive monitoring of the mayor's social media posts.

The police are also focused on the terrorists who were released to neighborhoods in east Jerusalem as part of the current hostage-prisoner exchange.

Israel Police noted that terrorists exploit Ramadan to “incite and disseminate misleading narratives about events in Jerusalem, especially in the Old City and on the Temple Mount.”

Since the Oct. 7, 2023, mega-atrocity by Hamas, Israel’s tolerance for incitement has decreased, despite all its humanitarian and free speech values.

Israeli Foreign Ministry condemned the incident calling it an act of incitement, "not in keeping with the spirit of the peace agreement between the countries."

Israel Police accused the owners of incitement and support for terror. However, witnesses say charges were unclear at the time.
